It is suitable on the skin affected by a psoriasis, mold or the appearance of warts.
Tagetes is used in mixing high - quality perfumes. Interesting is the combination tagetes essential oil with sandalwood. Tagetes are among the edible flowers, which, thanks to an interestingly bitter taste, have been used in culinary for thousands of years, especially as an addition to refreshing drinks, salads, pasta dishes or fish.
Essential oil extraction is done by steam distillation of flowers and leaves.
Effects: It is a suitable part in cosmetics aiming especially on the skin affected by the psoriasis, mold or the appearance of warts. In small quantities (0.01%) it can be added to soothing massage oils or to mixtures designed to treat skin problems.
Notice: In sunlight, this oil may act phototoxically.
